Rifles

The late 19th and early 20th century saw a never before seen acceleration in the development of small arms. Within three decades several inventions like reliable magazine systems, quick loading devices and smokeless powder caused the great powers of the world to engage in an arms race unlike anything seen before. In 1914, the results of this race would be pitched against one another in the largest conflict the world had seen thus far - the Great War.
